Dear Diary,
I love words and I write what needs to be written. My posts are akin to journal entries chronicling my personal journey through life; and sometimes I suspect it is information an unknown reader might need. We can share in a community through space and time with this format. Though print will never compare to a conversation, it does allow the opportunity to consider ideas otherwise missed. Many of the blog posts are in the format of discussion (left brain discourse) and then poem (right brain discourse). In that spirit, here are two poems to represent the previous description!

Writing on Purpose
Words on paper speak of mind
Thoughts with meaning never blind
What is, what was, who shall I be
I’m writing on purpose, can’t you see

Letters combine to speak of things
Ideas sprout and then grow wings
Philosophy, religion, and politics too
These are the things I’ll share with you

I smile and grin and use silly phrasing
The result you see is quite amazing,
My depth goes way beyond the surface
Because today I’m writing on purpose

Write my friend, write with soul
Know it fills the widening hole
See all its truth with purpose light
And know through pen to page be right

All things to be but mostly hence
Will show which side to live the fence
You'll see wonders and live within
As purpose writes and you begin
